Pokhara is known as the gateway to the Annapurna region, a popular trekking trail in the Himalayas. High above the placid phewa lake there is the peace pagoda. Sarangkot is a spectacular vintage point to watch sunrise and sunset on the Annapurna range. Tibetan refugee camps are located around the town and to the southeast is the narrow ravine of David’s fall. This is the place where you can relish complete recreational activities. You can also shopping in the streets and bazaars of pokhara city by getting spectacular view of the vegetation and the landscape view of city.

Mustang is located at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Himaayas – Thorang La mountain pass, Mustang. For both hindu and Buddhist pilgrims Muktinath is believe as  Mukti kshetra, which means the “place of liberation or moksha”. The central shrine of Mukthinath Temple is considered as one of the eight most sacref shrines for Hindu Vaishnavas known as Svayam Vyakta Kshetras. The major highlights of this muktinath tour is Tatopani, Marpha village Tour (the Apple capital in the nation with Marpha Brandy and Jams produced from local fruits), jomsom, Dhumba lake (lake is fed by ice melt from Mt.Nilgiri), kagbeni, 108 water spouts.

Detail Itineries

Day 1 : Kathmandu arrival

On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will greet and receive you at airport. Then transfer to your hotel. After reaching your hotel, check in and take rest. Free in the evening.

Day 2 : Full day kathmandu sightseeing

In this day after breakfast we will visit following sites:

·         Pashupatinath, a famous and sacred Hindu temple complex that is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. It is renowned for its superb architecture, its two-tiered golden roof and silver doors. The temple was listed in the UNESCO world Heritage Monument list in 1797.

·         Boudhanath. This colossal and ancient Stupa is one of the biggest in the world, and features all the eyes of Lord Buddha. This is also one of UNESCO’s cultural heritage sites of Nepal.

·         Swayamhbunath, an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of the city. This is one of the world's most glorious Buddhist Stupa. It is around 2000 years old. This is one of UNESCO’s cultural heritage sites of Nepal.

·         Jalanayan Temple is a Hindu open air temple dedicated to Lord Mahavishnu. Budhanilkantha Temple (Jalanayan Temple) is also known as the Narayanthan Temple,and can be identified by a large reclining statue of Lord Mahavishnu.

Day 3 : Drive to Pokhara enroute visit Manokamna Temple.

After breakfast move to Pokhara, started with lovely and beautiful scenic tour with and interesting drive on Nepal’s busy main highway. The journeys lead past many farm villages and towns with romantic view of mountains.

En-route will visit Manokamana Temple situated in Gorkha district about 90 km west from Kathmandu and east from Pokhara. Manakamana is Temple of Durga Bhawani, which fulfills the wishes of ones who worship her with pure heart.

After reaching Pokhara, transfer to hotel near the beautiful Phewa Lake. In evening walks around the lake side with the close view of Annapurna mountain range and stunning peak Machhapuchare Himal (The Fish Tail).

Day 4 : Flight from Pokhara to Jomsom and visit Muktinath temple

We will transfer to the Pokhara airport for the flight of jomsom. After arrival in Jomsom airport you will be pick up and drive to the Muktinath Temple via visiting Kagbeni.

Kagbeni is a Tibetan village that is the only “Gateway to, located in the Valley of Kali Gandaki River. Kagbeni is known as one of the oldest villages in the Himalayas.

Day 5 : Flight back to Pokhara and sightseeing.

Morning breakfast at hotel and depending upon flight time transfer to jomsom airport for pokhara flight. Once reach at pokhara airport transfer to hotel. And we move for sightseeing like:

·         Davis falls, where the water forms an underground tunnel after reaching the bottom.

It is locally known as Patale Chhango (hell’s falls). Legend says that a trekker was washed away and mysteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.

·         Gupteshwor Cave, the longest cave (2950 m.) of Nepal. It features several hall-like rooms and some passages. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Pokhara. The Hindus regard this cave as holy.

·         Seti River Gorge. Seti River is known for its milky white water. The Seti River and its tributaries have dug impressive canyons into the valley floor, which are only visible from higher viewpoints or from the air.

In the evening free walk in lake side around Phewa Lake.

Day 6 : Drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast check out the hotel at Pokhara and drive to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu get fresh and if you like you can enjoy shopping or explore old Kathmandu city.  Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 7 : Final Departure

For the final departure our representative will transfer you to the Tribhuvan international airport.

IUseful Information

  • Muktinath is surrounded by rugged, snow - clad mountains lies at the altitude of 3750m.
  • Muktinath temple is small and contains a small sized golden statue of vishnu as shri Mukti Narayan. Behind the Muktinath temple there is a small semi-circular wall with 108 stone faucets at a height of seven feet. Muktinath is believe as Mukti Kshetra, which means the "Place of liberation of Moksha". The Kali Gandaki river downstream from Muktinath is the sole source of the rare Shaligram stones that are required to established a temple of Vishnu anywhere in the world.
  • Kathmandu to Muktinath is about 375 Km one way. About 300 kilometers road is good and well paved and rest of 75 Km is rough mountain road.

Weather condition of Muktinath

Autumn falls in September, October and November which is the best season to visit Muktinath. In this season there is average temperature condition.

Spring falls in March, April and May. In spring you can see beautiful flora, spectacular mountain and mostly moderate and average weather is forecasted.

Summer is relatively less suitable to visit Muktinath ( Jun, July and August). There is high possibility of heavy rainfall. So that flight option might not be available even ground vehicles might also not reach because of landslide.

In December, January and February you can complete your trip depending upon the weather and temperature forecast. But there is still less favorable because of high possibility of snow fall.

The Tibetan and Thakali origin are the inhabitants of Mustang which is highly influenced by Tibetan cultures and custom. Tiji, Lhosar, Duk Chu are the main festivels of Mustang's inhabitants. Muatang is famous for its Thakali food as well as local Wines, Apples, Tibetan bread, Marpha and dried food.
