Snowfall in Nepal - Top winter travel destinations for snow enthusiasts
Traveling in the winter has its own appeal. The skies are mostly clear, the sun is warm, and if you're lucky, you might even see some snow. Snow is appealing to Nepal's urban population. Their affection is evident during the winter, when the majority of them flood places like Kathmandu's Chandragiri and Phulchoki, as well as Ghandruk and Sikles outside Pokhara.

1. Poonhill Myagdi
While the previous options were best for people from Kathmandu and eastern Nepal, Poonhill is best for people from Pokhara and parts of western Nepal. 2. Sikles Kaski
Sikles is the closest place for Pokhara residents to see snow. The Gurung village is a fun place to visit and is only four hours drive from Pokhara. During the winter, the viewpoint from the village is covered in snow, and you can see Annapurna II and IV, as well as Lamjung Himal. The people of Sikles are wonderful, and you will have a wonderful time in the village.
3. Daman, Makawanpur
Snowfall is a common occurrence in Daman. This hill station, located near Kathmandu, is an ideal destination for people who want to play in the snow. Bethanchok may be the closest place for Kathmandu residents to see snowfall. At an elevation of 3,00 meters, the location provides a unique view of not only the mountains to the north, but also the endless hills. 5. Ama Yangri, Sindhupalchwok
Ama Yangri in Helambu is an underappreciated gem. During the winter, the place is white with snow and is part of the Helambu circuit. The view, which is quite magnificent, comes second. Along with the Langtang range, Panchpokhari can be seen from Ama Yangri. The view from the top makes it even better. There will be yaks and yaks, as well as snow-covered meadows. 6. Sailung, Dolakha

7. Kalinchwok, Dolakha

It has snowing, pilgrimage, a cable car ride, and if you're lucky, a chance to ski on the valley's slopes. If you want to see snow, the best months to visit this little paradise are December and February. This time, you might be lucky enough to walk through rhododendron forests while admiring the Himalayas.
8. Khumbu, Solukhumbhu
If you have a lot of time, the Everest region should be your first stop. You are not required to visit the Everest base camp. You can simply hike up to Tengboche to see snow and the barren snowy peaks during the autumn and spring seasons. The hike is simple and enjoyable. While it does not snow as much in the lower elevations, it does in Namche, Kunde, Khumjung, and Tengboche. 9. Pathibhara, Taplejung
Pathibhara, a tourist destination as well as a pilgrimage site, is located at an altitude of nearly 3,800 meters and is covered in white during the winter. It is quite majestic because the temple, which is located atop a hill, offers some spectacular views of mountains such as Kanchenjunga.
