While the previous options were best for people from Kathmandu and eastern Nepal, Poonhill is best for people from Pokhara and parts of western Nepal. It is one of the most beautiful places to see snow. Poonhil, surrounded by mountains, should be on your bucket list if you haven't already been. It is best to go there in the spring, but for a different experience, going there in the winter could be quite interesting.

 

Sikles is the closest place for Pokhara residents to see snow. The Gurung village is a fun place to visit and is only four hours drive from Pokhara. During the winter, the viewpoint from the village is covered in snow, and you can see Annapurna II and IV, as well as Lamjung Himal. The people of Sikles are wonderful, and you will have a wonderful time in the village.

If you want to see snow, the best months to visit this little paradise are December and February. This time, you might be lucky enough to walk through rhododendron forests while admiring the Himalayas.

 

If you have a lot of time, the Everest region should be your first stop. You are not required to visit the Everest base camp.
