Detailed Itinaries

DAY 1

Arrival, transfer to hotel.

When you arrive in Kathmandu, a Go Nepal Travel Tours and Treks Pvt. Ltd. representatives will come meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will then visit UNESCO places like Kathmandu Durbar Square and the Swoyambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple), which are two of the most popular and historic sites in the Kathmandu Valley. After sightseeing, we’ll return to the hotel to relax. In the evening, a special welcome dinner will be hosted by us Go Nepal Travel Tours and Treks Pvt. Ltd., where you’ll enjoy delicious Nepali cuisine. We will spend the night in Kathmandu.

DAY 2

Drive to Chitwan National Park

Day 2 of our Nepal Tour(4 nights/ 5 days), begins with an early morning scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan, during the drive we will pass through hills, lush green valleys, and charming roadside villages. Along the way, we’ll also stop for a relaxing lunch break at a local riverside restaurant where we can enjoy delicious Nepali cuisine while admiring the views of the countryside. As we continue our journey, you’ll notice the landscape gradually shifting from hills to the flat plains of the Terai region, where Chitwan is located. By afternoon, we will arrive at Chitwan National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Asia’s best wildlife viewing destinations. After checking into the resort, we'll have time to relax or take a short walk around the peaceful village surroundings to sightsee. 

 

Day 2 - Drive to Chitwan National Park
DAY 3

Full days jungle activities in Chitwan national park

On day 3 of our Nepal Tour(4 nights/ 5 days), after having breakfast, we begin our day of wildlife exploration in Chitwan National Park. One of the main highlights of this day is doing an exciting jungle safari on elephant back, which provides us with an exciting experience along with a unique chance to spot one-horned rhinos, deer, wild boars, and maybe even elusive Bengal tigers in their natural habitat.

Later in the day, we will enjoy a refreshing and fun-filled session of elephant bathing in the Rapti River—an experience that will be remembered for a long time to come. We also have the option to go canyoning, bird watching, or take a guided tour to the Elephant Breeding Center, where you can observe and learn about these gentle giants up close.

As the day slowly starts to end, we head to the riverbank to witness a spectacular sunset over the lush green jungle—a perfect photo opportunity that you wouldn’t want to miss. In the evening, we relax ourselves with a delicious dinner in a jungle lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the forest, providing the perfect end to your adventurous day in Chitwan.

DAY 4

Drive to Nagarkot from Chitwan

On day 3 of our Nepal Tour(4 nights/ 5 days), after having breakfast, we bid farewell to the lush green jungles of Chitwan and began our scenic drive toward Nagarkot, which is one of Nepal’s most beautiful hill stations. As we ascend from the lowlands to the hills, we get to enjoy the changing landscapes—from dense forests and river valleys to terraced farms and charming villages.

Upon arriving in Nagarkot, we’ll be welcomed by cool mountain air and breathtaking 360 overall views of the Himalayas. This peaceful town is perched at 2,175 meters and is renowned for its stunning sunrise and sunset views over the snow-capped white mountain peaks. On a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of majestic Mount Everest (8,848 m), along with the Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Rolwaling ranges.

Surrounded by beautiful green hills, peaceful countryside, and pine forests, Nagarkot provides us with the perfect place to relax and admire the majestic beauty of Nepal’s high Himalayas. We will enjoy a peaceful restful overnight stay in Nagarkot for today.

 

Day 4 - Drive to Nagarkot from Chitwan
DAY 5

Nagarkot Sunrise, Transfer to Airport

Day 5 of our  Nepal Tour(4 nights/ 5 days) is unfortunately our final day as our exciting, fun , seren adventure on Nepal river ends today after viewing the spectacular sunrise from Nagarkot. A representative of our Go Nepal Travel Tours and Treks Pvt. Ltd. will accompany you to the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight. On the way back, you will have plenty of time to plan for your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal with us Go Nepal Travel Tours and Treks Pvt. Ltd..

Day 5 - Nagarkot Sunrise, Transfer to Airport

Useful Information

  1. Chitwan is situated at the elevation of 415m above the sea level, and is also known as the heart of Jungle. 
  2. The tour includes sightseeing as well as many different adventure and wildlife activities. 
  3. Chitwan National Park has a tropical climate and throughout the year there is high humidity and three main seasons. 
  4. Tharu is the biggest ethnic group  in Chitwan who have their own culture. They follow Hindu religion which is a slightly different  culture than other Hindu Religions. 
  5. In the past there were only Tharu tribes people who lived in Chitwan but these days many other caste people have also migrated and now live together with tharu people. 
  6. The colorful Tharu culture, their way of life, culture and tradition as well as their heart warming Tharu dance are one of the most exciting aspects of Chitwan. 
  7. The Tharu Stick dance (Lathi Nach) is the cultural dance of the Tharu people. 
  8. The biggest festival of Tharu Community is Maghi , which marks the community's new year and also the fourth largest community in the Himalayan nation. 
  9. Tharu cuisines include various types of freshwater fishes, crabs, snails, mussels, wild mushroom etc because the Tharu community mainly lives near marshlands, rivers and flooded plains.
