Mardi Himal Trek Overview

The Mardi Himal Trek is a stunning, lesser-known path located in the eastern Annapurna region of Nepal. This trek is perfect for those who want to see breathtaking Himalayan views without the crowds. This 9 to 10-day adventure is a moderate-level trek through green forests, villages, and beautiful alpine landscapes.

Located just east of the popular Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) Peak, the path gradually ascends to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m), providing 360 view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Mardi Himal itself. Unlike more crowded routes like ABC or EBC, Mardi Himal remains peaceful with a very low number of travellers, giving trekkers a more intimate connection with nature and the local culture.

Mardi Himal Trek Highlight

The Mardi Himal Trek is a perfect place for a hiking experience where you can see the beautiful view of the Annapurna region. The Annapurna range, in Nepal, is home to some of the most popular mountain scenery in the world and is known as one of the country's most popular hiking trails. And for those who are looking for a less travelled and easier journey on this trail , the 9 to 10 day walk through the Mardi Himal is perfect.

Mardi Himal trek is a little more difficult than your normal mountain hike, and consists of walking up to the hill that reaches the Annapurna. There is also the breathtaking view of the lesser-known side of one of the most famous peaks - the Machhapuchhre (fishtail) that is 6993 meters high which alone makes the trek worth doing.

Located just at the east of Nepal, Mardi Himal Trek is a hidden gem in the Annapurna region. Another benefit of this trekking is that the trail has a small path going to the Mardi Himal base camp so we won't have to go back to the same terrain and hence get the chance to experience a new journey once again. The 10 day Mardi Himal trek is an easy and moderate level of travel for all travel lovers.

In conclusion, Mardi Himal trek is a short hike done in the region of Annapurna where we stay in lodges, try delicious local dishes, enjoy the beautiful landscape of hills and mountains; and see the overall views of the Himalayan Mountains, including Annapurna, Machhapuchre, Hiunchuli and Mardi Himal.
